I&#039;ve been thinking a lot about how the &quot;Christian&quot; community has bought and is selling the idea that if everything is going well for us, ie: we have a good paying job, healthy children, good friends, a house, and are generally happy. then we must be pleasing God. But, that&#039;s so contrary to scripture. 1 Peter has been cutting me to the quick over and over.  &quot;you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.&quot; So, facing trials and un-masking brings glory to He not Me.</description>
